NRP Course Description:
The Neonatal Resuscitation course is designed for those whose responsibilities may include them to initiate or participate in neonatal resuscitation. The course includes the knowledge base and skills required to resuscitate neonates. The Neonatal Resuscitation programs taught by Life Support Associates follow the American Academy of Pediatrics / American Heart Association NRP Curriculum and utilizes the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation/CD.
Objectives:
Successful participants will be able to demonstrate the ability to perform or assist in the resuscitation of a neonate based upon the AAP / AHA guidelines.
Prerequisites:
Current NRP Provider card. NRP Provider cards are good for two (2) years from date of course completion. The AHA/AAP does not grant a grace period. If your NRP Provider card is expired you must repeat the full day Provider Course. Review of the course textbook/CD, practice exams and skills checklists prior to class. If a change in job responsibilities requires you to complete lessons not included in your previous NPR Provider training, you must complete a full day Provider Course.
Completion Requirement:
Receipt of the Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Card requires the participant to
successfully complete the written evaluation/skills checklist for lessons 1-4
and any other lessons applicable for their resuscitation responsibilities. The
Megacode must also be successfully completed. Course participants not able to
complete the course schedule in the time frames specified may be asked to
complete the course at another date or location.

Course Completion Certificates will be issued at the completion of the course.

We guarantee that you may repeat the course, if necessary, at no charge. Course completion must be scheduled and completed within two months of the original course date. We want you to succeed.
