Life Support Associates is a team of Behavioral Health Specialists that are here to support you through life’s challenges. We provide evidenced-based treatments combined with individualized care that can help improve your quality of life.

Our Treatment Approach

 We develop individualized treatment plans for each person to ensure that your needs are being met.  We utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques with a client-centered, strengths-based approach.We offer service to people ranging in age from children to adults. We also offer family and couples counseling.


 

Brandy Brown-Weikel LCSW, LCADC, ACSW

Brandy has spent over a decade working as an inpatient and outpatient mental health therapist. She started her private practice, Brandy Lee Brown LCSW LLC in 2016 and continues to operate today but has changed her practice name to Life Support Associates.

 Brandy sees adults ages 18 and up for individual, couples, and family therapy. Brandy also provided clinical supervision to those seeking clinical licensure in New Jersey and she also offers case consultation and private practice consultation services.

 Brandy has her Masters Degree in Social Work and Certificate in Gerontology from Rutgers University. She is also a state licensed drug and alcohol counselor and holds her NASW-NJ Clinical Supervisor Certification.  Brandy has also completed Gottman Couples Therapy completed Level 3 training, Brainspotting Phase 1 training and TF-CBT Training.  Brandy utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques. She sees clients who have differing needs from situational stressors to ongoing chronic mental health issues.



 Kelly Murphy, MSW,LCSW

Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and Delaware. Kelly worked in an acute psychiatric unit for 18 years and currently sees clients on an outpatient basis. 

Kelly graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master’s Degree in 2006 from Rutgers University. She utilizes a variety of treatment modalities and works from a strengths-based, client-centered perspective. She sees clients ages 17 and up and is currently in a network with most commercial blue cross blue shield plans. Kelly sees clients via telehealth and has evening availability.



 

Melisa Walker, MSW, LCSW

 Melisa has been in the social services field for over 23 years.  She has provided therapeutic services to children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and parents, as well as biological, adoptive, and kinship families.  Her experiences include working with foster care and adoption agencies, children, and families (biological and adoptive/kinship) for over 7 years.  She also has extensive experience with the adult mental health population as an inpatient psychiatric social worker for the past 16 years. She has supervisory experience as a program coordinator of two private foster care offices as well as a clinical supervisor on an inpatient psychiatric unit for adults.

 Melisa utilizes and offers different treatment styles and techniques and provides an individualized treatment approach.  She offers counseling services for individuals ages 8 to adult. She also offers couples and family therapy services as well as case consultation services. Melisa sees clients via telehealth and has evening availability. 



 

Allison Lant ,MSW,LCSW

  Allison has over 20 years of expereince in the social work field. She works primarily with adults whose needs may range from life adjustments, anxiety, depression and mood disorders through severe and persistent mental illness.

She specializes in working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, trauma, and perinatal mood/anxiety disorders. She creates a welcoming, supportive and safe community for everyone, including the LGBTQ+ community.

Allison, utilizes an eclectic combination of therapeutic modalities, focusing on self-compassion and mindfulness.

Allison holds the following certifications: Brainspotting Certification, Violence Against Women Clinical Certification, She is also a NASW-NJ member. 





Tonia Hall, LCSW, LCADC

Tonia Hall is a dedicated therapist with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse counseling. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Tonia has made significant contributions to the field through her work at Inspira, where she has served in inpatient mental health for over two decades, most recently as a supervisor.

In addition to her extensive inpatient experience, Tonia has spent the past six years providing outpatient therapy at Inspira on a part-time basis. Recently, she has expanded her practice by joining Life Support Associates, where she continues to offer therapeutic services.

Tonia's therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the diverse needs of her clients. She has expertise in working with clients ranging in age from 10 years old to adults.

Tonia Hall is passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges and achieve personal growth. Her compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy has earned her the respect and trust of her clients and colleagues alike.


 

Clinical Supervision & Consultation

Life Support Associates also offers case consultation, private practice start up consultation and clinical supervision for NJ LSW’s looking to become clinically licensed. Brandy has been in Private Practice since 2016 and is knowledgeable in the clinical/administrative/insurance aspects of starting a private practice. Brandy also has 12 years of experience in community mental health and inpatient mental health. She also has completed the NASW NJ clinical supervision training in 2018 and has supervised many future clinicians and has private case consultation and private practice startup consultation to many clinicians.

 

Choosing a clinical supervisor or someone you can consult with professionally is an important choice.

We offer Clinical Supervision in NJ for LCSW candidates.
